Hammar Maskin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
Hammar Maskin AB was founded 1974. It is a family company with Mr Bengt-Olof Hammar as Managing Director.

From a humble start the company has grown to be the largest producer of Sideloaders (Sidelifters, Swinglifters or Self Loading Trailers) in the world. This achievement has been possible by focusing on safety and quality from the start until today.

The first HAMMAR Sideloader was delivered to Malaysia in 1976. Hammar Maskin (M) Sdn Bhd was set up in early 2003, with the immediate goal to give the then HAMMAR operators a better after sales service. Today there are more than 250 HAMMAR Sideloaders on Malaysian roads, with well over 70% of all new Malaysian Sideloaders being delivered by Hammar.
Hammar is now providing 24 hours contracted back-up service (including a 24 hours service hotline) for more than 140 HAMMAR Sideloaders, many of which are utilized up to 22 hours a day.

On the longer term, besides serving the Malaysian market, Hammar Maskin (M) Sdn Bhd is poised to serve the ASEAN market from its base in Port Klang, taking advantage of AFTA.
