Includes the standard heavy duty 160 S model and the 160 HS with high stacking capability . The 160S is a very popular model, being the first in the world to have lifting capacity of 33 tonnes. With the outstanding simple construction, fast handling and high load capacity they are possibly our most rugged machines and are perfect for ground-to-ground lifting. The HAMMAR 160 is the world’s lightest 20-40-foot sideloader.

	A twin axle HAMMAR 160S 20’-40’ has a tare of only 7,7 tonnes. It is the lightest in the industry, high payload, excellent transport economy.
	The stabilisers reach far out. This is important for safe lifting. HAMMAR leads the industry with 2 000 mm outreach.
	The 160 semi-trailer overall lenth is only 13,0 m, (0,8 m longer than a 40’ container). The shortest sideloader on the market.

	The 160 series has an integrated security system as standard. The cranes can not be raised if the stabilisers are not unfolded.
	The cranes are jointed by heavy duty slide bearings with hardened axles polished to exact dimensions.
	The remote control box is kept in a protective lockable alloy box. Extras like radio remote and dashboards are also fitted inside the box.
	The cranes have a superior outreach. The standard distance between the container and semi-trailer can be as long as 1 080 mm.

With a HAMMAR you are flexible and independent of other lifting equipment. Here handling two 20’ containers simultaneously.

Loading and unloading containers to and from railway wagons is made easy

The design of the cranes allows you to handle containers with only 3” space between the containers.

With the HAMMAR 160 HS you can stack any fully loaded container on top of another. Always with four stabilisers for safe and stable double stacking.

You can load and unload from trailer to trailer. When haulaging long distance, you can convoy together with several conventional semi-trailers, using the HAMMAR for loading and unloading.
